Joanne Yesol Choi is a storyteller at heart, weaving together the worlds of writing and music to create rich, immersive experiences. Joanne’s writing style is poetic and vivid, painting a dreamlike canvas that transports readers into her imaginative worlds. Her current project Seasons: A Human Experience is a collection of short stories paired with carefully selected musical pieces, each showcasing the close relationship between nature and human emotions. By blending the literary and auditory worlds together, Joanne offers an innovative and unique way of storytelling that offers readers a multi-sensory journey, evoking the essence of each season through themes of loss, wonder, redemption, and beauty. Writing

Joanne’s creative endeavors also extend to collaborations. Recently, she collaborated with Dave Eggar on a Spotify track for Bristol Lighting, writing poetic lyrics for The Swan, seamlessly merging narrative and music. In January 2024, Joanne was commissioned by Autism in Mind to write her first children's book, Blob the Colorful Star, illustrated by her mother. The beautiful story teaches important lessons about self-acceptance and celebrating differences. It will be available for purchase and in libraries in Fall 2024.
